Cabinet lifts

Use The Butler when you need to adjust one cabinet or work surface.  It has 9 inches of height adjustability and will lift up to 150 pounds.  A safety switch will sense if the cabinet comes in contact with an object.

Use The Laundry Mate when you need to adjust a bank of heavier cabinet (up to 250 pounds).  It has a twin lift mechanism.  Like the Glider, it is heavy duty, has fingertip height adjustability (9") and is precision built.

Use The Organizer when you need to adjust shelves up-and-down 18".  It will lift up to 250 pounds.

Use these patent-pending lifts in new construction or if you want to remodel your kitchen or work area to make it more adaptable.  An optional infrared controller is also available.

Here is a "before" picture of a kitchen in a transition skills training program.  The previous kitchen has a open area for kitchen sink wheelchair access.  Overall, this kitchen is not very wheelchair accessible.

Our design includes (A) lowering the kitchen sink and using a sink that is only six inches deep.  The kitchen faucet has a removeable sprayer and a lever for water temperature.  The 66" wide wall cabinet group above the sink (B) will raise and lower, using two 9-inch vertical height electric lifts.  The 30" wide wall cabinet near the cooktop (C) will raise and lower 18 inches, using one lift.  The cooktop will raise and lower on a separate lift pair.  The school has a separate kitchen, in which they can teach oven cooking skills.

The corner base lazy susan's interior hardware will be replaced with a Rev-A-Lock 5272-32CR metal lazy susan hardware kit.  The 15" wide base unit next to the cooktop will be outfitted with a Rev-A-Lock 5WB2-1111-CR, 11-3/4" x 22" two shelf pull out hardware unit.

Replacement costs for this kitchen is about $8,400.  This price includes $4,200 for the four cabinet lifts (purchased from us), and $4,200 for new kitchen cabinets, sink, faucet cooktop, countertops, and Rev-a-shelf units purchased from Lowes.  Removal of the old cabinets or installation of new cabinets and equipment are not included in this price.  The existing refrigerator is being reused.
